Insurance Information

Northwest OMS is not an “in network” provider with any insurer this time, including Medicaid, CHP+ and Medicare. If you are covered by Medicare and you choose to have treatment performed by Dr. Heggland, you will not be eligible for reimbursement from Medicare. 

State of Colorado Regulations prohibits us from seeing Medicaid patients.

At Northwest OMS we make every effort to provide you with the finest care and the most convenient financial options. Please bring your insurance information, including current copies of cards, for both your medical and dental benefit policies with you to your appointment.  Our team will assist you in filing claims to ensure you maximize your reimbursement from your insurer or benefit company.

Dental “Insurance”

If you have a Dental Benefit Policy make sure you bring up to date information about it to your appointment.  Our team is experienced at assisting patients with filing claims to help maximize reimbursement from these Benefit Companies.

Most importantly, understand that Dental Benefits are not insurance.

Dental Benefit Policies provide a defined benefit amount for the policy year, and that is all.  These companies also limit what care procedures they will pay you for, they do not simply provide coverage in a fashion similar to Medical Insurance.  Dental Benefit companies thrive on exploiting their customer’s belief that the policy is insurance, it is not.  Dental Benefit Policies are essentially coupons with a limited value, if you have one, we will ensure that you are able to maximize your access to the benefit amount, but it is not insurance.
